A computer systems analyst is responsible for designing and implementing an organization's information technology infrastructure by analyzing business needs and recommending solutions.
A software developer builds the programs that run on computers. They use coding languages like Java or Python and work with the hardware and operating system to create the interface for users.
These career paths have different responsibilities but a skill they all must possess is technical writing.

End-User documentation: An example is an introduction to a product or process. This type of technical writing aims to make end-users (consumers) understand a particular process or product.
Traditional Technical Writing: In this form of technical writing, the writer assumes he is speaking to people who have similar knowledge of the concept. An example is a write-up on how to monitor security threats like malware or viruses that might harm resources.
Technical Marketing communications: This is when technical writing is used for marketing purposes, such as in an advertisement for the product or process.
Technical writing skills are in high demand in the tech industry; this is because they promote effective communication. Technical writing is needed to create and maintain documentation, tutorials, keep track of code, instruction manuals, and other resources.
